Radio Set SCR-AR-183 is intended for installation and operation in aircraft having 12-14 volt power supply systems, and radio Radio Set SCR-AR-283 is suitable for 24-28.5 volt installations. Both sets are identical in physical size and appearanceand perform in exactley the same manner.The only differences are in the filament circuits of the receivers and transmitters, and the windings of relay coils and dynamotors.
