year 1943

Radio Receiver BC-787-A BC-787-B is a three-band superheterodyne receiver for mobile or fixed station use. It is designated for the reception of either amplitude-modulated (a-m) or frequency-modulated (f-m) signals in the frequency range of 27.8 to 143 megacycles. It is also possible to receive continuous-wave (c-w) signals by using the beat-frequency oscillator. If desired, stand-by operation of the receiver can be controlled at some remote point. The receiver may be operated with the internal power supply or exsternal “A” and “B” batteries.
