Radio Receiver BC-1004
Hammarlund SP-200
year 1942
Radio Receiver BC-1004 (*) is a superheterodyne receiver intended for
reception of amplitude modulated (a-m) signals and for fixed station use in
the frequency range of 540 kilocycles to 20 megacycles. This receiver can
receive voice and continuous wave (cw) signals with either the MANUAL or AVC
( automatic volume control ). The receiver may be used with either of three
external power supply unit as fallow: Power Supply Unit RA-84-B, designed
for operate from 105-115-125 Volt, 50-60 cycles power source ; Power Supply
Unit RA-74-C, designed to operate from 95-130 volts, 190-260 volt, 25-60
cycles power source or Power Supply Unit RA-94-A, designed to operate from a
115- or – 230 volt, 50-60 cycles power source. In an emergency any one of
the receivers can be operated from a 6volt storage battery, five 45 volt “B”
batteries and a 45 volt “C” batteries.
